The District Land Registry of Lancashire
|
Established in 1862 and responsible to the Lord Chancellor, the Land Registry is self financing and maintains the Land Registry for England and Wales.
Ray Carr - Facilities Manager
The Problem
We were initially approached by the Land Registry as they wanted to utilise the facilities of a Travel Management Company. Ray wanted the travel to be cost effective and to be kept under the control of a few key Travel Bookers. The DLR for Lancashire also required their purchase order numbers to be recorded and pay by credit card.
The Business Travel Plus Solution
We were able to match their specific criteria exactly. We supply a choice of fares each time a reservation is made giving the Travel booker the option of having a cheapest ticket available.
Our systems have a record of who is permitted to make reservations on behalf of the DLR and our invoicing system will not allow a ticket to be dispatched without us obtaining a purchase order number. Our flexible payment options allowed the DLR to utilise their chosen payment option – credit card, and as an added bonus, we were also able to offer a daily courier service, free of charge, to their offices.
